Eco-Roofs

All of the new buildings in the Portland Action Sports Complex and Resort would be designed to have either a functional recreational facility, energy generation, or an extensive eco-roof. The function of the eco-roofs is vital to the overall sustainability strategy; it will provide stormwater retention, reuse, and treatment for the roofs of our new buildings.

We will also encourage the addition of a new roof over the parking deck on the Rose Quarter parking garage adjacent to the Rose Quarter itself. This new roof would treat all of the stormwater that currently falls on the garage, as well as any run-off from the Rose Garden building itself that is currently routed through the same stormwater system as the garage.

    On Tuesday, January 26th, 2010, Adam Wagner presented our concept vision for the redevelopment of the Portland Memorial Coliseum and Rose Quarter to include the Portland Action Sports Complex and Resort.
