Architecture Office

Building upon a variety of project types that have included public and private schools, a cancer treatment center, performing and visual arts facilities, religious and cultural institutions, art installations, single- and multi-family residences, restaurants, spas and floating structures, the partners of Architecture Office endeavor to contribute to the ethical evolution of the city while preserving a deep connection to the natural forces and landscapes that surround us.

We cultivate an ethic of respect for the art and science of building, an appreciation for history and culture, and of ideas made tangible. We create architecture that embodies the noblest aspirations of humanity, that sustains natural systems and that promotes the dignity of all people. We value rationality over novelty, experience over style, and permanence over fashion. We work to enrich the mind and the senses with sustainable, meaningful and original environments,
carefully conceived and meticulously crafted.

On Tuesday, January 26th, 2010, Adam Wagner presented our concept vision for the redevelopment of the Portland Memorial Coliseum and Rose Quarter to include the Portland Action Sports Complex and Resort.

You can see a video of the presentation on our blog, or in slightly better quality on Youtube.

The next important date is the 29th of January. We are very fortunate to have Beam Development as part of our team. If you, or anyone you may know, would want to be a part of our team, please let us know via our contact form, or call Adam directly for further information.

Please feel free to express any support you have for our alternative either to us directly, or to the members of the committees that will be making the decisions on who to invite to the next stage of the RFP process.
